Beallara Marfitch1The location, 95 Renz Road, is just past Winchelsea School, (going towards Church Rd.) On the opposite side of the street. You will pass what looks like fields, and then see a large, double wrought iron gate. There is an intercom on the left side of the gate. Please use the intercom to get in to the property. Once you are in, the gate will close itself, drive up to the greenhouses,(the right fork in the lane), and please wait outside the greenhouses until we have all assembled. We will then all enter the greenhouse together–orchids don’t like cold air!

We will have lunch at the Quality Resort, Bayside. Please let me know if you are coming, so that I can make a reservation.

See you on Sunday!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA This month we are going to Robert Held’s Glass Studio.  Robert is an award winning glass blower. He uses techniques that date back as long ago as 2000 B.C. however, his collections range from classic to contemporary. Some works are inspired by the paintings of famous artists such as Monet and Klimt, while others take inspiration from photographers and even interior designers.

This is a great opportunity for macro or close up shots, or for the March assignment ‘All That Glistens’.
