We are looking forward to seeing your wonderful submissions Let’s get all four of your images into this contest….REMEMBER ONLY ONE OF YOUR IMAGES MAY GO ON TO THE FINAL COMPETITION AND THAT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TOP VOTE COUNT FROM YOUR FOUR ENTRIES…
We are allowed to enter 6 images as a club and we are looking for a broad choice in what our club will have to vote on and compete with in the Lions Gate Competition.
We will head to the Big Qualicum Fish Hatchery to take in the annual salmon run. Most of the hatchery will be accessible for a self guided tour, taking in the various facilities where young salmon are bred and released. In addition, there are a number of walking paths around the river and spawning channels that should be spectacular in their fall colours. Fishing is allowed on the river above the hatchery so there is also an opportunity to catch fishers catching fish. We will meet in the hatchery parking lot at 11:00 am and follow that up with a lunch at Micky J’s at the Arrowsmith Golf Club.
Remember to vote for the monthly assignment entries.
