Aug 1 @ 12:00 am – Oct 19 @ 10:00 pm

The results came in and our club did very well again this year.  We did not place in the top 3, however, Jack Harynuk did place 3rd in the mammal category for his grizzly bear head shot.

  1. – Birds
  2. – Mammals
  3. – General (not 1 or 2)

Look through your shots and be certain there is no ‘hand of man’ in the image.  Images have to be uploaded by October 19th.

September Field Trip
Sep 18 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
This is a wonderful opportunity to photograph farm animals, old building and explore locally made cheeses and wines.
CHANGE OF VENUE  Lunch is scheduled for 12:00 at the Morningstar Golf Course restaurant at the Golf course, just down the road from the farm.
Remember to submit a maximum of 6 images of this field trip.  Limiting yourself to 6 images for this field trip may be a challenge.
Located on a heritage dairy farm nestled in the shadow of Mt. Arrowsmith, Little Qualicum Cheeseworks and Mooberry Winery produce a selection of world-class cheeses and award-winning fruit wines. Made from the high-quality milk of our herd of happy dairy cows, we have an artisan cheese to suit any occasion. And just across the courtyard is the winery, where delectable fruit wines pair perfectly with the cheeses. Come and visit us at the farm and sample our products, stay for a tour and visit our animals – we’d love to meet you! We are open daily 9 am-5 pm.
