Our September meeting is a social event where we can spend some time with other members. If there are any questions about our BIG slideshow evening in October, this is one time to get some information.
Once the business of the meeting is over, we will have the results of the Reflection assignment, the field trip to Mt. Washington and the favourite shots from August.
This is a reminder to upload your assignment photos to the member database by the 20th.

Slideshow Night – Our October meeting is going to be quite exciting with slideshows from many of our members. Summer is over and our members have traveled and will be sharing their memories. The list is not yet complete, however, we are expecting shows from Ken Meisner, Shelley Harynuk, Alan Smith, Wayne Buhr, Roy Watts, Inge McDonald, Ed Dunnett, Jack Harynuk and there’s more to come.
Before the show gets going, we’ll get the club business out of the way, then see the results of the Moving Water assignment, the field trip to Morningstar Farm and our favourite shots from September.
There will be coffee and tea at $1 but bring your own popcorn!

Our November meeting has moved to a different date for this month. We are very pleased to have Eiko Jones come and speak to us about his photography. The topic is Watershed Awareness – one photo at a time.
At times he is overwhelmed by the beauty of the world around us. He is passionate about sharing this Pacific Northwest environment with everyone. Through artistic and dramatic imagery, he endeavours to offer people a glance of that world, whether they live in a big city condo, or have no ability to experience the world below or out in nature. His work is all about drawing attention to the entire environment and watersheds, from the mountaintops all the way down, and into our vast, but fragile oceans.
Coffee service will be available so bring your loonie.
